How Long Does a Single Laser Hair Removal Treatment Last?

The length of a laser hair removal treatment may last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the size of the area being treated.

It is important to know that the hairs in an active growth phase are most affected by the laser. As all hairs are not in this phase at the same time, more than one treatment will be necessary to achieve the best result.

What To Expect Following Your Treatment

The appearance of the treated area immediately after the laser session will vary from client to client and will depend on the extent of treatment, the energy setting of the laser machine and your skin type.

It is normal to experience some redness and some mild swelling, which disappears in a short time. Most people return to normal activity right away.

At high energy settings, some crusting of the skin may appear temporarily. You will have a test patch in a discrete area to ascertain the most effective but safe treatment level.
